Asa J. L. Sowell

Asa J. L. Sowell, one of John Sowell's sons who was one of the first two Anglo settlers in Guadalupe County from 1831-1835. Asa accompanied his father during the 1835 defense of Gonzales when Mexico tried to retake the cannon. (Leon Studio).
