The first stop of the mouse is, of course, the City of Seguin page at http://www.seguin.net/corp/seguin. The first impact is an attractive logo of the City of Seguin seal, with a cordial letter by Mayor Mark Stautzenberger welcoming surfers and inviting them to visit Seguin.
The information contained in the site is the information that the Economic Development Department of the City makes available to prospective industries or businesses who are considering operations in Seguin.
Included are current data about the population, workforce, incentives, a list of major employers in the area, tax structure, transportation, government, finance, health care, education, churches, communications, utilities, attractions, and recreation facilities. It is a promotional site, the text is inviting; information included has to do with accommodations, attractions such as True Women tours, a visitors guide, "Gems of Information for New Residents" and "A Jewel of a Spot to Convene." The site is linked to the City site. You can e-mail the Chamber at segcbv@connecti.com.
