When I am researching a topic for the Internet Beat I often run
across a number of related interesting and often well written
sites. Due to space, I'm unable to include all related sites
in a single article. Here are some related garden sites and some
brief descriptions of what I found there.
American Rose Society -- http://www.ars.org/ -- The official home
page of the American Rose Society is visually pleasing and well
written. A related site A Collection of Old and Old Fashion Roses
-- http://www.halcyon.com:80/cirsium/rosegal/welcome.htm - Gives
the visitor a glimpse of the past. Beautiful Pictures.
Botany Department at Georgia -- http://www.botany.uga.edu:80/

Compost -- http://net.indra.com/~topsoil/Compost_Menu.html - How
about a whole site dedicated to the wonderful art of composting.

-- Another Canadian site, this one provides good links to all
types of gardening interests.

Jerry Parsons at TAMU -- http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/PLANTanswers/web.html
- Great Texas site full of environmentally safe gardening information.

appreciate the effort by the Texas Agriculture Extension Service
