A "provider" word search using the search form above provides the most direct in-depth information related to entities:  you can search in the text files of the entire Volume I, find out what is in the plan for that entity.   An alternative method is to choose from the list of links to figures, tables, text, contents by section and the table of contents in Vol I.   If you don't know what to look for, look up the context of major provider, or a municipality with population greater than 500 people.  If your entity is a water utility serving rural areas, the information is aggregated under the "county other" user group. Also available are the "About the Plan" keywords links belowuser hints, keywords alphabetical index and files guide.

Text Box: Water Utilities serving Rural Areas

Within each county and within the plans of major water providers, there is a specific plan to meet the identified shortages in the rural areas; the numbers are an aggregate of information pertaining to all the utilities serving the rural area in each county. There is no detailed plan for each utility to amplify the summary paragraphs about each individual utility’s supply and drought management plans. These summary paragraphs are found in Section 1-10: Summary of Existing Plans and Programs, pages 1-52 to 1-104.   The South Central Texas Regional Water Planning Group has included in its recommendations for the next planning cycle, that there should be a detailed plan for the water utilities serving rural areas.

If you are interested in finding the same kind of information (see above) available for municipalities, click the very same links listed below, and look for and find county other or rural areas.
